Breast Cancer Awareness Projects Due This Friday

Breast Cancer Awareness Projects Due This Friday!

If you took a pink yarn project, please "weave like the wind" so that we can send these projects to the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge on Monday morning.

To return projects to the World Financial Center, please contact Ashley Firestone at specialevents@brookfield.com or via reply to this e-mail.

If you are stuck and need help, please e-mail or call Ina, whose contact information can be found on the front page of your pattern.

Following our last meeting in September, we've collected the following twenty-five projects:

Four Lace Cowls
Four Angora Lace Scarves
Four Angora Tam Hats
Two South Bay Shawlettes
Eleven (!) Sunshine Shawlettes

I know we can send all 40 projects that were distributed. We're counting on YOU!

All completed projects will be donated to the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge New York City, a free living complex for patients
receiving cancer treatment in New York.

Reminder: Meeting this Friday!

This Friday is the last working meeting for our Breast Cancer Awareness Month projects for the American Cancer Society Hope House. See previous post for patterns and supplies.

Friday, September 16
12 - 2PM
World Financial Center Courtyard (across from Starbucks)

Remember, all of these projects are due NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 1, so that we can deliver them in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October)!

We'll welcome finished projects this Friday, and up through October 1. For our October meeting (10/21), we'll begin new projects that will last us through the end of the year!

Here are our finished projects so far, ready for mailing - and we still have several kits left!
